A new spring and lots of new tracks are reason enough to make a new mix set with 25 of the hottest tracks of the moment. The biggest producer of the moment is Riva Starr, no doubt about that, so that’s why his name appears a number of times in the tracklist, including his Paradise Garage Mix of Dennis Ferrer’s instant classic Hey Hey. Also we have two tracks by the number one dj of the world Armin van Buuren, who made a stunning remix of Not Going Home, a new track by Faithless. The other track is a remix Every Other Way, a track by BT.
The mix set hops from house, dirty dutch sound and nu disco into progressive, techno and trance. It looks like it’s gonna be trumpets all over the place this summer. And they’re all in the new dancelog.nl mix: Underground Dance Sessions Volume 5.

Ook al zijn we nog maar net bekomen van het weergaloze album van BT, verheugen we ons nu al op de vele albums die er in de dance-hoek in de komende periode zullen verschijnen. Zo lezen we dat Faithless begin mei met een nieuwe cd komt. De al op Radio 1 uitgezonden nieuwe single Not Going Home belooft alvast veel goeds, mede dankzij de remixen van Eric Prydz, Hervé en een ijzersterke van Armin van Buuren, die overigens zelf ook aan een nieuw studioalbum werkt. Daarnaast is sinds kort de nieuwe uit van Gorillaz – Plastic Beach, deze staat op high rotation hier met veel hiphop en wat disco-invloeden. En terwijl de dubbele Defected In The House Miami mix-cd (zomerse clubhouse) door Riva Starr na wat tegenvallende edities eindelijk weer erg fijn is, lezen we dat Booka Shade in april ook met nieuw werk op de proppen komt. Om nog maar te zwijgen van Hybrid dat met iets orkestraals schijnt te komen… aaah! Heeft iemand oren over voor me?
