DJ Mixset bij Vince: Rawthentic
Apr7
A new mix. Last week I heard such good records, I had to put them in a mix. The first one is pure bliss, so I start with that one. After that, a favorite of mine of 18 years has been remixed into a 2011 version of the track, keeping that vibe alive. The third one too is not even a week old according to Beatport. Four till six had been in my crate for a couple of weeks now and keep the deep, mellow, electronic vibe going. Ofcourse, there is a Babicz track in there, which glues the deep and the raw part together, containing a bit of both.
Track 8 and 9 let the mix turn to techno, while track 10 is a mammoth of a track, nearly one week old as well. I have carefully picked the next four tracks to keep up with that monster. I didn’t really know how to end this mix. I could have ended with a nice uptempo melodic track, but I chose to end with a very raw, deep, techno track which dies out nicely in the end.
A nice detail is that the entire mix goes at a steady 124 bpm. No tempo shifts at all. Enjoy!

My last mix in the Underground Dance Sessions series. The rest of the year I’m gonna work on the Dancefloor Yearmix 2010 that will be broadcasted somewhere around Christmas on Fresh FM.
Due to the summer we’re a week later than usual, but hey, we made it. Episode 10 contains twenty four tracks (or actually twenty eight) in an uplifting genre that starts kind of groovy and builds up to more energetic tracks with the current chart killers KNAS, Nito and Brap as a summum. Then I built a little break just before for the kind of experimental encore with tracks that were too good not to use, but didn’t quite fit in the main mix. Total playing time is nearly 90 minutes. Well, find out yourselves :)
After my recent mix, I wanted to do another one, but a different genre I’m used to: Disco.
